GCSE Geography B course offers an issues-based approach with specification content organised by UK and global geography. It also includes a decision-making paper, which allows students to investigate people-environment issues on a global scale.
Pupils will study the natural Hazards (volcanoes, earthquakes), Development – inequality of the world and megacities across the world.
Pupils also study modern issues that are happening in the UK such as rivers, British coastal areas and cities. Pupils will carry out their own investigation which will include research and fieldwork.
